Director of Land Development
Micaela Feltl serves as Director of Land Development at HomeOwnership4U.org, where she focuses on sourcing land, building relationships with cities, and bringing together the partners needed to move housing projects from concept to construction.
Her work sits at the earliest and most uncertain stage of development, where progress depends on identifying the right opportunities, earning trust with municipalities, and aligning landowners, builders, and stakeholders around a shared mission. She has experience working across multiple governing bodies and stakeholder groups, including her time supporting development initiatives at Salt Lake City International Airport. There, she navigated a multi-agency environment and contributed to long-term land use and tenant development policy. That experience sharpened her ability to communicate clearly, build alignment, and advance projects in complex settings.
Outside of development, Micaela has spent several years coaching and managing athletes at Snowbasin Sports Education Foundation. She sees this work as one of the most meaningful ways she can invest in her community, helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and resilience. In that role, she brings together athletes, parents, coaches, and logistics into a cohesive team. That experience shaped how she works. Progress comes from alignment, consistency, and a shared commitment to something bigger than any one individual.
At HomeOwnership4U, she works with cities and partners to turn land opportunities into housing projects, helping communities make tangible progress one site at a time.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find her on the mountain, coaching, skiing, or spending time with the people and places that have shaped who she is.
